2. Refund Policy Overview
Our refund policy varies based on the type of offering: legal consulting services, info products, and goods. Please review the section relevant to your purchase for detailed terms.
3. Legal Consulting Services
3.1 Scope and Fees
SoftwareLaw provides tailored legal consulting services for software and technology businesses. Fees are due prior to the scheduled engagement and are outlined in our engagement letter.
3.2 Cancellation and Rescheduling
Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled time qualify for a full refund. Cancellations made between 48 hours and 24 hours prior may receive a 50% refund. Cancellations within 24 hours of the scheduled time, or no-shows, are nonrefundable. However, you may request one rescheduling at no additional charge if the request is received at least 24 hours before the original appointment.
3.3 Refund Method
Approved refunds are processed within ten business days of confirmation and credited back to the original method of payment. If the original method is not available, a credit note valid for six months will be issued.
4. Info Products
4.1 Delivery and Access
Info products include digital guides, templates, and on-demand recordings. Access is granted upon receipt of payment.
4.2 Refund Eligibility
Requests for a refund of an info product must be submitted within 14 days of purchase and prior to any download or access. Once any part of the product has been accessed, the purchase is final and nonrefundable.
4.3 Refund Method
Approved refunds are processed within ten business days of confirmation and credited back to the original method of payment. If the original method is not available, a credit note valid for six months will be issued.
5. Goods
5.1 Inspection and Return Window
Goods include printed handbooks and physical materials. Upon receipt, you have seven days to inspect the items and request a return or merge.
5.2 Return Conditions
Goods must be returned in original condition and packaging. Returns due to a defect will be fully refunded or replaced at no charge. Returns for any other reason are subject to a restocking fee of 15%, and you are responsible for return shipping.

6. Nonrefundable Services
Certain services that require immediate engagement of specialist resources, such as bespoke contract drafting or urgent compliance reviews, are nonrefundable. These terms will be clearly indicated in any service proposal. By accepting the proposal, you acknowledge the nonrefundable nature of such services.
7. Modifications to Terms
SoftwareLaw may update these Terms of Service at any time. We will post revised terms on our site. Continued use of our offerings after publication of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
8. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any dispute arising under or in connection with these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
